Is there a gauge for this tam??? It's very pretty but what is the head measurement for the cast on??? I would love to make it but I'd hate to get it part of they way done then frog it because it's too big or small with not knowing the gauge....Thanks

This is really incredible and I'm so excited to make it! Do you remember what color of the noro you used for the second hat? I loooove the colors but I can't seem to figure out which one it is! Thank you for posting this pattern!

Thanks so much Claireasaurus! It's color 245. Definitely my favorite colorway...

As far as the gauge, I'll have to measure one of the hats and get back to you on that, but the pattern will make a hat for a women's m/l, if you want something closer to a s/m hat, i would just do the ribbing on a 7, unless you're a really tight knitter...

I'm at Remaining Tier 2 Rectangle.
A bit confuse.
1. Don't I TURN after the ssk?
2. why is Row 1 a Purl and Row 2 also a purling row?
